    Bombardier, Quebec, Canada

    Mr Taylor was the US Program Manager for the assembly and test of 50 Light Rail Vehicles and bogies for UTDC, (later Bombardier), on the Guadalupe Corridor Project in San Jose CA. The tasking required extensive training and liaison at Thunder Bay,Canada as well as requiring a delivery schedule of one LRV vehicle per week. Later his firm partnered with Bombardier for the Green Line bid for assembly and test of Light Rail Vehicles and their associated bogies for Los Angeles County Transportation Comission.

    Siemens AG, Germany

    Mr Taylor was asked to partner with Siemens Duewag for the US assembly and test of 29 Light Rail Vehicles and associated bogies for the North San Diego County County Transportation Comission. The tasking involved close quality assurance involvement as well as strict adherence to a rigid delivery schedule.

    ExcelTek Inc, USA

    Through his contacts in Mexico, Mr. Taylor assisted Exceltek with marketing efforts and exhibitions in Mexico. The product consisted of a Trailer Mounted Potable Water Purification Unit suitable for communities of 2500 inhabitants. The tasking required:

    • Modification of the on board computer in order to receive and carry out commands in Spanish.
    • Temporary Importation to Mexico documentation, customs acceptance, waiver of Value Added Tax in Mexico
    • Exhibition of the product in the ANEAS Convention in Chihuahua, Mexico
    • Return of the product to California.
    Motores Perkins SA, Toluca, Mexico

    Using his Sister City contacts, Mr Taylor's newly opened firm in Chihuahua City, Maquinaria Tayko SA, obtained the Chihuahua state Distributer franchise for Motores Perkins Diesel Engines. He concurrently opened three additional Dealerships in Juarez, Parral and Ciudad Cuauhtemoc. He then began manufacturing Perkins diesel engine driven generator sets in Sacramento, CA for sale to buyers in the US and Mexico. Later he became the sole US importer of Motores Perkins Diesel Engines and began forming US Distributerships for the Toluca, Mexico firm.

    Maquinaria Tayko SA Chihuahua City, Mexico

    Mr Taylor's flagship entity in Mexico soon began marketing industrial clients to augment his Motores Perkins diesel engine distributership. One of his clients, Ejido el Largo, manufactured various types of wood mouldings for the US market. A large one megawatt diesel engine powered generator set was furnished as a replacement for four smaller european units. Subsequent generator sets designed by Mr Taylor were furnished to various clients including large hotels and the Mexican Military.

    Potencia Industrial SA Mexico City, Mexico

    Utilizing his US Department Of Defense contacts as well as his Mexican business associates, Mr Taylor was able to assist Potencia Industrial SA, of Mexico City, Mexico in business development efforts to market Potencia's unique Uninterruptible Power Supply to the appropriate agencies of the US Air Force.

    Scientech Inc USA

    Mr Taylor was asked to provide assistance to Scientech, Inc, in providing a power supply for a Rapier Missile display at McClellan AFB. The tasking involved the design, fabrication and final test of the unit which would be compatible with the original device manufactured by BAE Dynamics and MBDA. The Rapier is launched from racks mounted on trucks, armored vehicles, or ground platforms.

    Mr Taylor was also asked to provide business development services and water remediation services in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico.
    West Coast Gas Company, USA

    Mr Taylor played a principle role in the client's effort to convert the 5800 acre telephone and natural gas systems at Mather Air Force Base to civilian and commercial customers during base conversion efforts to Sacramento County. The effort also involved the granting of a Public Utility Gas Company license from the California Public Utility Commission as well as the day to day operation and billing. Extensive renovation to infrastructure requirements were negotiated with Sacramento County and accomplished according to a strict timetable.

    Agro Industrial Don Pablo SA Chihuahua,Mexico

    Mr Taylor assisted a Mexican company, Agroindustrial Don Pablo Licon, in a business development assignment for the US herbal spice and therapeutic oil market. Mr Taylor represented the client at the Expo Comida Latina Mexico Pavilion in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Mr Taylor, acting as a sole importer, also set up US distributors, established pricing, and handled wholesale and retail distribution accounts.
